"Rain cloud map (beta)" is an application that displays the situation of rain clouds (precipitation), thunder and tornado throughout the country.
You can display various radar images on Google Maps in a superimposed fashion and display across the country.

■ Type of radar
The types of radar that can be displayed in the "rain cloud map" are as follows.
· Precipitation Nowcast This is rain cloud (precipitation) information that is announced every 5 minutes.
Actual measurement data from 1 hour ago to 5 minutes at the present time, forecast data every 5 minutes can be displayed from the present time up to 1 hour later.
It shows the situation of precipitation in 8 steps from "less than 1 mm / h" to "80 mm / h or more".
· Analytical rainfall · Precipitation short-term forecast It is rain cloud information (precipitation) announced every 30 minutes.
Actual measurement data from 6 hours ago to every 30 minutes at the present time, you can display forecast data every hour from now to up to 6 hours later.
It shows the situation of precipitation in 8 steps from "less than 1 mm / h" to "80 mm / h or more".
· Lightning Now cast This is information on the activity level of lightning announced every 10 minutes.
You can display actual measurement data from 1 hour ago to current 10 minutes, forecast data every 10 minutes from the present time up to 1 hour later.
Activity 1 to "Activity 4" to indicate the activity level of lightning in 4 stages.
· Tornado Nowcast This is information on the occurrence probability of a tornado announced every 10 minutes.
